After 14 wonderful years as one of Richmond’s top custom cake studios, I’m stepping into an exciting new chapter in 2026. As the founder of two local Richmond non-profits — Gallery5 and Virago Alley (which will be organizing the Richmond Ren Faire, launching Spring 2026, among other initiatives) — my focus will be on bringing these creative projects to life. With that in mind, I’ve made the difficult decision to set an end date for my staff members after Thanksgiving so I can dedicate myself to these endeavors.

While I may still take on a few personal orders in 2026, the kitchen will be closed for many weeks after Thanksgiving 2025.

Cake & Dessert Inquiry Form

If you are looking to book for a wedding (cake, small desserts, delivery, or setup) please fill out the wedding inquiry form.

PLEASE READ: This order form is for all celebration cakes (birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, baby showers, etc.), as well as small desserts. All new orders MUST be placed via this form and typically require a minimum of 2 weeks notice. We can easily book up months in advance for high-volume wedding months (May, June, September & October) so we urge you to submit an inquiry several weeks/months in advance for those months. A submitted inquiry does NOT guarantee availability. Please allow up to 48 hours (2 business days) for a follow-up e-mail. NOTE: If you have not received a response in 72 hours, PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER, as our emails have been known to filter into our clients’ spam folders. Thank you for your patience!

Our minimums factor in ingredients and staffing costs, the cake equipment (dowels, separator plates and cake boards) used to stack or display your cake, as well as the days/weeks/months of email and phone communications, coordination, design research, ingredient sourcing, handmade accents and all of the other behind-the-scenes planning necessary to bring your cake to life. Typically, before a cake has even been baked, we have spent many dollars in staffing/overhead on your cake. Due to the increased pricing of goods/services, these new minimums are strictly enforced to cover these basic overhead operations.
